Aveclo is a Ukrainian brand founded in 2020, driven by a passion for the art of knitwear and a vision to create timeless, thoughtfully crafted pieces. Our mission is to offer knitwear that tells a story of resilience and responsible craftsmanship.
On February 24, 2022, our world changed forever. Russia’s cruel invasion of Ukraine led to the destruction of our main office and warehouse, the complete breakdown of our supply chains, and a total disruption of our operations. We were forced to halt production for six long months. It was a time of immense challenges, yet our determination never wavered. Despite ongoing shelling and damage to critical infrastructure, we found the strength to rebuild and move forward, driven by an unwavering commitment to our homeland and community.
Today, we proudly continue to produce our collections in Ukraine, supporting the local economy and adapting to constantly changing circumstances. Every piece we create stands as a testament to our resilience, embodying the strength and beauty of our nation.
At Aveclo, we believe in responsible and sustainable production. We craft our knitwear in small batches, carefully managing our output to align with demand and minimize excess inventory. This approach not only reduces waste but also allows us to focus on quality and precision. Additionally, we collect all production scraps and send them for recycling, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. We’re dedicated to making choices that positively impact both our community and the environment.
